Seeking God First
SEEKING GOD FIRST
God said. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.”
What things is He talking about?
Everything that we need. He will provide us with food, if we are hungry, quench our thirst when we are thirsty, clothe us when we are naked, heal our diseases; provide jobs for the unemployed, shelter for the homeless, forgiveness for our sins, hope for the hopeless, sight for the blind. He will take care of the fatherless and the widows, and He extends a special invitation to the little children to come to him. He says that you should take his yoke upon you for his yoke is easy and his burden is light and he will give you rest.
Then he says. “Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you, for no one who seeks after him, will He in no wise turn away.”
When you seek after God, He promises that you will find Him. You just have to seek after him with your whole heart, soul and strength. David said. "I was young and now I am old yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread."
The promise of all the promises is offered to every man, woman and child on this planet. It is yours for the taking, because it is a free gift from God. God offers this full,free gift of Salvation to all.
